DynamicInlineSymbols

Sets whether the script is supporting semi dynamic inline symbols.

Inputs

DynamicInlineSymbols
Boolean: Enables or disables semi dynamic inline symbols. The default value is true.

Remarks

You can query additional data series for the symbol of a standard data input. To do this you can create inline symbols containing the name of the data input as used in the script (Data1, Data2, ...). When the chart is created the placeholder will be replaced by the name of the corresponding data input. If you experience naming conflicts with existing instruments, you can use this property to disable this behaviour.

Examples

Disable dynamic inline symbols
Meta: DynamicInlineSymbols( False ); // Dynamic inline symbols are disabled, so the symbol // will be directly passed to the data provider. DrawLine( 'Data1', "EUR" );
Enable dynamic inline symbols
Meta: DynamicInlineSymbols( True ); // Dynamic inline symbols are enabled, so 'Data1' will be replaced by // the name of Data1 before passing it to the data provider. DrawLine( 'Data1', "EUR" );
